Mèze takes on a different rhythm in autumn and winter - a little quieter than the height of summer, but certainly not sleepy. There are still plenty of things happening, from local markets and seasonal festivities to the much-loved Fête des Vignerons, when the town comes alive with music, wine and local traditions. It's a wonderful time to enjoy long lunches, fresh oysters from the Étang de Thau, walks along the lagoon and the simple pleasure of experiencing Mèze at a more relaxed pace.
